§ Mr. TraceyThe Green Paper "Home Improvement—A New Approach" (Cmnd. 9513) published last year proposed that market value compensation should be available as of right to the owners of unfit dwellings subject to compulsory purchase. This remains our intention, but the necessary amendments to existing primary legislation must await a suitable opportunity.
