§ Mr. Wallerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he has any plans to seek to introduce amendments to the Rag, Flock and Other tilling Materials Act 1951.
§ Mr. ChopeWe have no plans at present to introduce amendments to this Act. The safety of imported stuffed articles will in future be controlled by the proposed general safety requirement provisions of the Consumer Protection Bill which is currently before Parliament.
