§ Mr. PattieThe Government are currently looking at ways in which legislation implementing the unregistered design right proposed in the White Paper might be drafted to ensure that competition in spare parts is not prevented. I cannot, however, promise an early announcement of our conclusions because of the need to consider the consequential effects on all sectors of industry.
