Whether the Controller of the Forensic Science Service has given his up-to-date view of the evidential value of the Greiss test, and if not, when this is expected.

A reappraisal of the evidential value of the Greiss test has been completed by the Forensic Science Service and is being considered as part of the review of the case of the Birmingham pub bombings by my right honourable friend the Home Secretary.
