§ Mr. NewtonThe doctors who prescribe blood products for haemophiliacs are best able to give them any necessary reassurance about safety. Reassurance to patients who need blood transfusions can also best be given by the patient's doctor. The leaflet to be delivered to every household next month will refer to the action which has been taken to safeguard the blood for transfusion.
