§ Mr. Corbynasked the Secretary of State for Defence what non-United Kingdom forces have had use of British facilities in Belize over the last three years.
§ Mr. Stanley[pursuant to his reply, 4 December 1986]: British facilities are used by the Belize defence force. So far as other foreign forces are concerned, records are available only for the last two years. In September 1986, both the BDF and British Forces Belize hosted a troop from the Bermuda Regiment during a two-week joint exercise. In February 1986 a sports team of United States service men from Panama visited the BDF and BFB. United States observers were invited to witness joint BDF/BFB exercises in January 1985, January 1986 and July 1986.
