§ Mr. JoplingImplementation of the Commission's proposal to devalue the green pound by 6 per cent. for beef and 2 per cent. for sheepmeat would increase support prices in the United Kingdom by about 4.9 per cent. for beef and 1.6 per cent. for sheepmeat, and add about £50 million to farm incomes in a full year.
