§ Mr. LangThe recommendation on training in first aid firefighting is one of several put forward by the firemaster of Grampian fire brigade following the fire at Peterhead prison on 13 November 1986. Officials of the Scottish Home and Health Department are studying this recommendation as part of their comprehensive examination of operational issues for the Scottish prison service following the incident at Peterhead.
