§ Mr. Maddenasked the Secretary of State for Transport what steps he is taking following the recommendations made by the local police in Bradford and supported by the city coroner for the installation of traffic lights, with a pelican crossing for pedestrians, at the junction of Thornton road with Chat Hill road and School green, Bradford, together with the lowering of the speed limit on Thornton road to 30 miles per hour and enlargement of the pedestrian refuge in Thornton road, are implemented; and if he will make a statement.
