§ Mr. Douglas HoggI understand from the chief constable that 16 officers were available for duty but not all were deployed. The police asked people standing outside the home of my right hon. Friend the Member for Bridgwater (Mr. King) to disperse in order to avoid possible obstructions to the highway and breaches of the peace.
