Mr. Michael Marshall

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the average number of days training per year given to professional information technology staff within his Department who are no longer trainees, in the most recent years available.

[pursuant to his reply, 24 November 1986, c. 61]: The average number of days training in information technology given, off-the-job, to staff classed as automatic data processing functional specialists in my Department was six in 1985 and 6.6 in 1986.
