§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Minister for the Civil Service what will be the spending of all Government Departments and agencies on fees to outside consultants in the current year; and what it was in 1979–80 and each intervening year.
§ Mr. Luce[pursuant to his reply, 21 November 1986, c. 363]: Information is available only for management and computer consultants employed by Government Departments. Figures showing spending from 1984–87 are given below. The information for 1979–80 to 1983–84 could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
