§ Mr. Freesonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what response has been received from the Brent education authority as to what action they and the governors of Willesden college of technology are proposing to take in response to the findings of Her Majesty's Inspectors on aspects of part-time further education professional courses in construction and engineering; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. DunnBrent education authority has been unable to respond within the normal consultation period but has informed the Department that the newly reconstituted governing body of Willesden college of technology will be considering a report from the acting principal on 3 December. My officials will be meeting officers of the Brent education authority in December to discuss the accommodation problems of the college.
