§ Mr. GummerI understand that the bureau is the representative organisation at Community level of consumer organisations in member states, and that it is consulted on consumer matters by the Commission, from which it receives a small subsidy. My Department maintains contact with the United Kingdom consumer organisations which are members of the bureau.
