HC Deb 01 December 1986 vol 106 c508W
48. Mr. Dykes

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the recent discussions between his Department and the Civil Aviation Authority on air traffic controller adminstration at Heathrow and other major United Kingdom airports.

Mr. Michael Spicer

There have been no recent discussions with the CAA on administrative matters concerned with air traffic control. My right hon. Friend wrote however on 24 July to the incoming chairman of the authority setting objectives for his term of office. A copy of the letter was placed at the time in the Library of the House.
