§ Mr. Dicksasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he has investigated the connections that exist between the Libyan regime of Colonel Gaddafi and the African National Congress; and what actions he proposes to take.
§ Mr. EggarWe are aware that President Botha recently said such links exist and have noted Gaddafi's expressions of support for the African National Congress. We are, of course opposed to Libyan efforts to export violence anywhere in the world.
