§ Mr. Coombsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he plans any changes in policy in the light of the report "Diet, Nutrition and Health" produced by the board of science and education of the British Medical Association; a copy of which has been sent to him; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mrs. Fenner[pursuant to her reply, 28 April 1986, c. 315]: We have already published proposals for the fat content labelling of foods in response to the recommendation in the COMA "Report on Diet and Cardiovascular Disease" and we have at the same time published draft guidelines on the nutrition and labelling of food. We have already stated that we will take the recommendations of the COMA report into account when discussing the common agricultural policy within the European Community.
