§ Baroness TrumpingtonThe cost of drugs dispensed in the hospital and community health services in England in 1984–85 was £279 million; information on the cost of dispensing these drugs is not centrally available. The cost of drugs dispensed in the family practitioner services in England in 1984–85 was £1,194 million excluding pharmacists' remuneration for dispensing, and £1,553 million including pharmacists' remuneration for dispensing.
