§ Mr. Alan ClarkThis information is published in annex D to the Department's analysis and summary of companies' reports under the EC code, which was placed in the Library of the House prior to the Easter recess. We will remain in touch with the companies concerned and take every opportunity to urge them to reconsider their attitude and to report under the code. In the light of such efforts in the past, I am very pleased that the number of non-reporting companies has been steadily reduced; only three companies declined to submit returns in the last reporting period, compared with 10 a year earlier.
