§ Mr. Giles ShawI attended a meeting on 26 February between my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Environment and representatives of the West Yorkshire police authority about the authority's funding. The representatives' primary concern was the authority's grant-related expenditure assessment, which is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment. We have received no representations since that meeting.
