asked the Paymaster General if he will provide figures showing the total number of jobs covered by the young workers scheme and the annual costs of the scheme in each year since it was first started; how many jobs are currently covered by the scheme and what is its cost; and if he will estimate the net job creation effect of the scheme.

There have been over 436,000 approved applications since the schemes inception at an annual cost of:
