§ Mr. LangAn analysis of the claimant count by industry or occupation is not available. The labour force survey provides a national estimate of those unemployed who had previously worked in shipbuilding, but data for local communities are not produced. Monthly figures are available for the total claimant count in individual wards. These are deposited in the Library.
