Whether the new guide for local magistrates The Sentence of the Court will be issued to all lay magistrates and whether the free distribution will be confined, as hitherto, to new magistrates on appointment.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord Glenarthur)Copies of the publication are being distributed to all serving magistrates, although some may not have received them yet. My noble and learned friend the Lord Chancellor will ensure that new magistrates receive a copy following their appointment.
