§ The Attorney-GeneralIn its report No. 118 on illegitimacy, published in 1982, the Law Commission made a number of recommendations aimed at removing the legal disadvantages suffered by illegitimate children. These recommendations have been accepted by the Government and will be brought into effect at the earliest possible opportunity.
