§ Mr. Ashdownasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) what is his policy towards support for 9W United Kingdom companies and individuals trading with parties named in the United States export denials list; and if he will make a statement;
(2) if, pursuant to the answer of 27 March, Official Report, column 611, he will issue guidance to companies as to what constitutes legitimate trading in the context of his policy towards the United States export denials list; and if he will make a statement.
