HC Deb 21 April 1986 vol 96 cc20-1W
Dr. David Clark

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what action he is taking to evaluate the effect of acidic emissions from Irish power stations on the environment in Galloway.

Mr. Ancram

Estimates by the Department of Trade and Industry's Warren Spring laboratory indicate that acid emissions from Irish power stations are responsible for only a negligible proportion of the total deposition in Galloway.
