§ Mr. TrippierYes. The Health and Safety Commission is reviewing the Mines and Quarries Act 1954 and associated legislation. The review will take account of modern technological advances as well as other matters. The commission has issued consultative documents on three subjects and will be putting forward proposals to me in the light of the response.
