Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what appointments he has made to (a) the South Wales Sea Fisheries Committee and (b) the Lancashire and Western Sea Fisheries Committee since May 1979.

We appoint nine members to the South Wales sea fisheries committee and, jointly with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, 18 members to the Lancashire and Western sea fisheries joint committee.
