§ Mr. NewtonThe number of applications for the exercise of the Secretary of State's discretion under Requirements Regulation 9(17)(i) received in Headquarters is 103. Of these 45 were successful, five were unsuccessful and the remainder are still being366W considered. The number of applications received under Requirements Regulation schedule 2A paragraph 5(4)(m) is 67, of which 14 have been successful.
