HL Deb 14 April 1986 vol 473 c530WA
Lord Molloy

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will intervene to stop regional health authorities evicting state registered nurses from nurses' homes after they have passed their examinations.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Baroness Trumpington)

A substantial proportion of student nurses have always been offered health authority accommodation and, depending on local circumstances, some have been able to stay in such accommodation on completion of their training. This remains the position.
