§ Mr. RentonWe regularly make clear to the Soviet authorities our concern for human rights and that those246W imprisoned for their political or religious beliefs should be released. The case of Irina Ratushinskaya was raised by my right hon. and learned Friend the Member for Edinburgh, Pentlands (Mr. Rifkind) then Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, during his talks with Deputy Foreign Minister Kornienko last year.
