§ The Attorney-GeneralI understand that the editor ofSearchlight magazine was interviewed by police officers in 1984 in response to an approach from him. However, the facts alleged by the editor did not disclose the commission of any criminal offence. If the hon. Member has evidence tending to show the commission of an offence such as is mentioned in the question or any other offence, the proper course is for him to make that evidence available to the police.
