HL Deb 10 April 1986 vol 473 c405WA
Lord Winstanley

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will list those health authorities which have made or are making cuts in pregnancy testing services.

The Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Baroness Trumpington)

We do not collect this information centrally. Health authorities are aware of the importance of facilities being made readily available to confirm the existence of a pregnancy and to encourage the woman to take advantage of care facilities as early as possible.
