HC Deb 10 April 1986 vol 95 cc146-7W
Mr. Peter Bruinvels

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what consideration has been given to setting up schools run directly by central Government.

Mr. Dunn

The Government continue to consider all possibilities for improving school education. If and when decisions are made about possible changes, they will be announced and discussed with the partners in the education service in the usual way.
