§ Mr. HayhoeThe latest available information on registrations of newly diagnosed cases of cancer in England and Wales is published in "Cancer Statistics: registrations, England and Wales, 1982, Series MB1 Number 14", a copy of which is in the Library. This gives registration rates per 100,000 population and (for ages under 75) standardised registration ratios for specific sites of cancer for regional health authorities. These data are not published by age or for smaller health areas; such data could be produced only at disproportionate cost.
Data on cancer registrations in Scotland are published in "Scottish Health Statistics 1984", a copy of which is in 190W the Library. This publication gives cancer registration data for specific sites of cancer, for 1982 for Scotland as a whole.
Information on cancer registrations in Northern Ireland is not published.
