§ Mr. Meadowcroftasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what representations he has received from the chairman of the Yorkshire regional health authority regarding the chairmanship of the Leeds Western health authority;
(2) why Mr. Robin Good is not being re-appointed as Chairman of the Leeds Western health authority;
(3) what representations he has received from medical staff in relation to the chairmanship of the Leeds Western health authority; and if he will make a statement.

The views of the regional health authority chairmen were taken into account, along with those from other sources.
