§ Mr. Kenneth BakerAs my hon. Friend will be aware, we have ourselves published proposals for the extension of competition in local authority services. More than 450 responses have been received up to the end of September. I have today placed in the Library a list of the main respondents.
§ 22. Mr. Parkasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many district or borough level arrangements for waste management he has so far approved under the Local Government Act 1985.
