§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will give an assurance that his Department, in co-operation with local authorities where appropriate, will ensure that information technology centres received the necessary funding to maintain their operations during the current and the next financial years.
§ Mr. ButcherThose ITeCs which remain eligible for DTI pump priming assistance of up to £75,000 will continue to receive my Department's support during this and the coming financial year. Together with the Manpower Services Commission and other Departments concerned with ITeCS, my Department is currently considering the funding arrangements to operate from 1 April 1986.
