§ Mrs. ChalkerAn unusually long period was allowed for public consultation about this scheme, and I now intend to proceed to a decision on a preferred route.
The so-called Beckford spur has no role to play in the national trunk road network, but should Avon county council wish to consult the public on it as a local distributor road, it is of course open to it to do so.
