§ Mr. Greenwayasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, pursuant to the answer of 12 November 1984, Official Report, column 71, he will make a further statement on the progress in the community of Mr. Edward Hopson, released from Broadmoor in April 1982.
§ Mr. MellorI have received detailed monthly reports from a consultant psychiatrist at Broadmoor hospital and a senior probation officer who are responsible for supervising Mr. Hopson. These indicate that he is making satisfactory progress in the community. I shall continue to take a close interest in the case.
