§ Mr. Heddleasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, pursuant to the answer of 19 November 1984, Official Report, column 3, he will make a further statement on any proposals that he is considering to prevent local authorities from discriminating against private companies for reasons which have nothing to do with the quality of their work.
