§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has held with other European Economic Community countries concerning the revised draft Contadora treaty; what recommendations he will be making in this respect to the meeting of Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg; and if he will place a copy of the revised draft in the Library.
§ Mr. RifkindOur position is as stated in the declaration made by Community Foreign Ministers on 10 September in Luxembourg which called on the States of Central America to come to an agreement that allows for a peaceful, global and verifiable solution. I am arranging for a copy of the revised draft Contadora Act to be placed in the Library of the House.
