§ Mr. YoungerThe veterinary investigation facilities provided by the West of Scotland Agricultural College are part of the college's advisory services to the agricultural industry in their area.
My Department will shortly be issuing a consultation paper on the agricultural advisory services in Scotland. Careful consideration will be given to the responses to that document, including those relating to the veterinary investigation service. Meantime no proposals have been made for closure of facilities currently provided.
