§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he intends to take any action to give effect to those recommendations in the World Health Organisation's European regional strategy for attaining health for all by the year 2000, which fall within the responsibility of his Department.
§ Mr. WhitneyUnited Kingdom health care policies are already largely in line with the main tenets of the World Health Organisation's European regional strategy for health for all. Nevertheless in determining strategic planning for the National Health Service we shall consider how best to focus on specific objectives of the European strategy.
