§ 40. Mr. Sternasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what assessment he has made of the implications for pensions policy of recent proposals by the Centre for Policy Studies for the liberation of individual pension funds, a copy of which has been sent to him; and if he will arrange for the Treasury to initiate a detailed study of the economic and revenue implications of such proposals.
