§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether the list of drugs currently available on prescription includes any drugs which can affect the development of spina bifida in children.
§ Mr. HayhoeNo product licence has been granted for any medicinal product which includes amongst its indications protection from spina bifida or neural tube defect. As a matter of caution, a considerable number of drugs available on National Health Service prescription are not recommended for use in pregnancy.
