§ Mr. ChannonThe Government have put forward specific proposals to the International Tin Council to deal effectively with the present situation. I raised the issue yesterday at the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, and we shall be continuing our efforts, within the Council and through diplomatic channels, to achieve an agreed early resolution.
