§ Sir George YoungMy right hon. Friend announced on 20 November the totals available for capital expenditure allocations to local authorities on the housing and other services blocks for 1986–87. Local authorities will be notified of their individual allocations before Christmas and it will then be for them to decide how much of their resources to make available for home improvement grants.
