§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will give for each year since 1979 the total income and expenditure of the Institute of Psychiatry breaking down the figures by source of income and item of expenditure; and if he will make a statement on the institute's deficit of £250,000.
§ Mr. WaldenDetails of the income and expenditure of the Institute of Psychiatry are given in its accounts. Copies of the accounts for 1980 to 1984 have been placed in the Library. The accounts for the year to 31 July 1985 are still being audited but I understand that arrangements are in hand to fund the deficit.
