§ Mr. Johnasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what sums of money he has provisionally allocated for the establishment of environmentally sensitive areas within the United Kingdom.
§ Mrs. Fenner[pursuant to her reply, 21 November 1985, c. 302]: The level of expenditure will depend on the detailed arrangements which we hope to introduce next year. However, we are anxious to ensure that this scheme gets off to a good start. We estimate that this would cost £6 million in a full year if, as intended, 5 or 6 acres are designated during 1986.
